Upcoming Workshop

You Shall Love

14th of June to 30th of June 2026

This retreat is designed for performers/artists/practitioners (actors, directors, dancers, researchers) with an established, grounded artistic foundation within themselves and a drive to explore and experiment in collaboration.

For artists who are seeking more knowledge of the Art of the Ensemble, Art of the Spiritual- Healing- and Performance Masks. From your own Primary mask, through the deep passage with our Antithesis masks that represent the contradictory aspects of your life. Supported by material inspired by YEATS: A Vision (a power script/spiritual source document created in 1925). All the masks we use are rooted in the Balinese mask culture and environment, which we have been a supporter of for the last 36 years. They are all original designs by Per Brahe and are not copies of others’ work. And they do not interfere with the original Balinese mask culture. Stay to the Truth. Teach the Truth. Act on the Truth. The wood we use for the masks is not endangered.

“Explore the joy of booking a time” and create a financial individual packet. Because our facilities belong to us, we offer a comfortable opportunity to book at a time that suits you best.

The Balinese language and its inherent creative power will occasionally " Inspire the way you hear your text in a new, exceptional and unfamiliar way to reveal its possibilities to produce a physical impact; to divide and distribute it actively in space".

In fact, you are playing with the 4 basic performance voices by using masks. But a teacher using that 4 mask in his performances will be with you during the process..

The Kaunas Papers.

At the end of August 2025, Michael Chekhov's "Lessons at the Lithuanian State Theatre" (1932) will be published for the first time in English and German.

Per Brahe's words in the book, placed at the last pages of the whole published material describes the heroic journey that 9 students and Per Brahe undertook together in 1989, which brought them, as the first students and teachers ever from the West, right into the arms of one of the world's most dedicated theatre schools, GITIS in Moscow.
